As of this morning, Governor Ducey and Superintendent Hoffman extended our school closure until the end of the school year. Though this is difficult news to hear, we understand this is a necessary step that we all must take to do our part in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Packets-to-Go will be distributed at school on Tuesday 4/7 & Wednesday 4/8 for those who may need paper copy@7-10AM & 11AM-1PM.
Students encouraged to continue working on Waterford or Successmaker.

Meals will continue to be served at our school cafeteria for children (0-18yrs of age) Monday-Friday for Breakfast 7-10AM & Lunch 11-1PM. Las comidas se seguirán sirviendo en la cafetería para niños (de 0 a 18 años) lunes a viernes para el desayuno 7-10AM y el almuerzo de 11-1PM.
Tierra del Sol and all Arizonas schools will be closed from Monday, March 16-27, 2020. As there may be many questions, any updates and information we will stay in touch via our phone messaging system, the district and school websites, marquee, and/or formal letter.

Gas Leak: TDS is operating at regular schedule. There is a gas leak south of our campus being attended to. Per Somerton Fire Department Personnel our students and staff are safe to remain in our building. We will keep you informed if any changes.
Effective Thursday, October 31-November 6, 2019 the intersection of Somerton Ave. & Garvin St. will be closed in all directions. Traffic coming into the school must enter from the south traveling northbound on Somerton Ave. Exiting the school only east on Garvin St. (right).
Sundragons are currently enjoying Fall Break until we return on Monday October 21, 2019.
UPDATED 8/14/19 NEW Bus Stop LOCATION for Las Estrellas temporary transportation:
Morning bus pick-up will be at 7:00 am on Federal Ave & 12th Street.
Afternoon bus drop-off will be at 3:10 pm on Federal Ave & 12th Street.
We are all safe. Campus was evacuated for community/police matters, after K-6th grade dismissal. Building is clear. (Per SPD some pre-school parents were called to pick students few minutes early. Thank you parents.)
Sun Dragon Families, friendly reminder: Wednesday is our Early Release day. Students in grades K-6th are dismissed at 12:00PM. PreK- Mrs. Flores: AM 10:15 & PM 12:45 and PreK-Mrs. Diaz AM 10:00, Full day/PM 1:30PM.
TDS families in the Estrellas: Somerton will begin construction on the Garvin Pathway. Students will be offered temporary bus transportation starting the first day of school 8/6/19. Pick-up at 7:00AM & drop-off 3:08PM MTTHF and 12:23PM on Wed. at Cesar Chavez Ave. & Patricia St.
