TDS Families, The week of November 8th through November 12th will be minimum student days with dismissal at 12:00PM daily. This will allow teachers to conduct Parent Conferences on Tuesday, November 9th and Wednesday, November 10th. Teachers will also be attending trainings in the afternoon on Monday and Friday to best prepare for our 3rd quarter coming up soon! There will be no school on Thursday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day. Dear TDS 1st- 6th Grade Families, This week and next week- All 1st- 6th grade general education classroom teachers will begin sending home student devices (tablets) pending a signed device contract. Those students who are still pending a signed contract will bring home a copy of the contract for parent signature. Student will begin bringing home device the following day. Any student who has an outstanding fee due to missing or damaged tablet from SY 2020/2021 can pay fees in the TDS office. Currently our ASPIRE (Mrs. Zaragoza), TRIUMPH (Mrs. De La Herran), and THRIVE Ms. Bratcher), and our Preschool (Mrs. Flores) will NOT be sending home devices at this time. Due to limited equipment, only the device will be sent home at this time. Charging cables and squares will remain at school for student use during the day. We are also sending home updated District COVID waivers. We ask that parents please review, sign, and return to your child’s teacher. If you have any questions, please fee free to give our front office a call at (928) 341-6400.

Tierra del Sol Open House will be held this Friday, July 30 starting at 5:30 to 7:00PM. Come and meet your child's teacher and visit their classroom! We will provide important information and distribute dismissal forms/cards to support end of day procedures to help accelerate long wait times that are typical of the first days of school. Swing by between these times on Friday for 40minute rotations. Your child should be receiving a Welcome Back Postcard in the mail and/or we will also have updated class rosters posted outside the building to help locate your child's teacher/room. (For safety purposes, Parents will have access to the building during this evening event, but we will be limiting access to Students- Only during our school days, including the first day of school.) Estimados padres de familia de TDS, Algunos de nuestros estudiantes no han devuelto sus iPads aun. Por eso solicitamos que esos iPads sean devueltos a la escuela. Dear TDS Parents, Some of our students still need to return their school iPad back to TDS, they are currently showing as off campus. In an effort to ensure all iPads are updated and ready for the first day of class on August 2, 2021 we are asking for all iPads to be returned no later than July 22nd -July 27th, 2021 between the hours of 7:30am and 2:00pm. Good afternoon TDS Parents, We have been given updated information from the Department of Economic Security (DES) in regards to P-EBT funds. Our district has confirmed all student data was update and sent to ADE on May 17th, 2021 and according to DES, parents should be receiving their P-EBT by late June according to their last name. TDS Reminder: Families who need to return school tablets, today is our final day! The TDS office will be open until 2PM, then we will provide evening tablet drop-off hours from 5- 6 PM. Please be sure to return tablets to allow us to prepare them for the next year! If you child is attending a District/ TDS Summer program you may continue to keep upon completion of the program.

Dear Families, Reminder, Kindergarten Promotion Drive-Thru tonight @ 5:30PM. We will have our 6th grade promotion tomorrow, May 25 @ 5:30PM. Please decorate your cars, play music, and be festive! For both evening events we will have Somerton PD assisting with traffic: Cars will only be able to enter the TDS Parking lot coming Southbound on Somerton Ave. Cars exiting the looper lane will only be able to turn left (Southbound) onto Somerton Avenue. Limited access to Angelica St and Columbia Ave (access on Columbia only for promotion). Please follow all traffic signs and signals. Let's be safe, have fun, and celebrate!
