Our March Coffee & Convos with the Superintendent was a success! We discussed Special Olympics, parent workshops, districtwide tournaments, our school letter grade, and a potential bond. We were also honored to have special guests from Campesinos Sin Fronteras speak about youth and substance abuse.
We invite everyone to join us for our next Coffee & Convos with the Superintendent on April 16th at Sun Valley School.

Somerton students had an amazing time during the SSD 2nd Annual Title IV Soccer Tournament on Saturday, March 7, 2026!
The tournament brought students together from across the district to represent their school, enjoy friendly competition, and build connections through sports.
Somerton Middle School hosted teams from Bravie T. Soto, Desert Sonora, Encanto Learning Center, Orange Grove, Sun Valley, and Tierra del Sol schools.
The day highlighted teamwork, school spirit, and the positive impact of coming together as a district community. A great big thank you to all the Somerton families that came to represent their school and enjoy the day! You make us proud! Please tag someone you know!
