Please join us this Thursday for our PTO meeting at 6:00 P.M. in our cafeteria. Dr. Noel, our new superintendent, will be attending this meeting as well. Come and hear all of the great things happening with our kindergarten students. Team two kindergarten students will be presenting at our PTO meeting. Our kindergarten teachers have also prepare centers and materials for that night, so that you can see what your child is learning at school and how you can help him or her at home.
We will be having our bus drill this Tuesday. Please talk with your child about the importance of all of our emergency drills. Next, ELC will be watching the DARE PARADE this Wednesday from the front parking lot of our school. So, we are asking all of our parents to park on our north or south side of our school campus. Also for our COSTUME PARADE, we are asking all of our parents NOT TO BUY their child any scary or gory costumes, guns, daggers, and/or any other toy weapons that will not be allowed at school. Children are not to bring any masks to the costume parade, however, they can wear moderate face makeup, nothing extreme.
ELC teachers will be meeting this Saturday to go over all of the DATA from our assessments, and we are going to use it to drive our instruction for the next quarter. We will also use this data for our intervention groups. Thank you for being part of your child’s education. We wouldn’t be able to do it without your help.
Lastly, please take time this week to congratulate our teachers and employees who are our “Stars of the Month”. We want to thank Ms. Sandra Magaña, Ms. Martha Salas, Ms. Lupita Altamirano, and Mr. Martin Velasco Jr. for all of their hard work and dedication.
Parents, DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AT SCHOOL BEFORE 8:25 A.M. Our staff does not arrive to school until 8:20 A.M. Again, please do not drop off your child at school before 8:25 A.M. Your child’s safety is our priority and concern. Thank you for your support!
