Dear Parents! Please join us in congratulating our “Teacher of the Year” for Valle Del Encanto Learning Center. Our teacher selected by her peers is Ms. Gabriela Dueñas. ELC would also like to recognize locally our Preschool "Teachers of the Year". Our first teacher selected by her peers is Ms. Monteon, who was select as our “First Year Teacher of the Year”. Our second teacher who was selected by her peers is Ms. Rouse. ELC is proud to have great teachers who are dedicated and passionate about teaching and deserve our accolades. Even though our "Preschool Teachers" are not recognized by the county Teacher of the Year, ELC wanted our parents to recognize them for their ardent dedication and excellent work.

Mr. Munoz's Corner:

Dear Parents! ELC will have their kindergarten registration this Wednesday, April 16th, from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Please note that if your child is already enrolled in our preschool classes, then you do not need to enroll them for kindergarten. The enrollment process is automatic for our preschool students. Kindergarten registration will give us information that will help us begin to select the your child’s classes for the fall. Preschool will be having their Camel Farm field trip this Thursday, April 17th. The Preschool AM session will be leaving ELC approximately at 9:00 A.M. and the Preschool PM session will be leaving ELC approximately at 1:00 P.M. Also, I just wanted to remind you that ONLY volunteers that have been cleared by our district office could help with this event. If you haven’t done so already, please go to the district office and fill out a volunteer application to help in field trips and/or classrooms. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 18th, in observance of Good Friday. Please continue to talk to your child about rough playing at school. We are only two weeks away from our final yearly assessments (DIBELS & GALILEO). We need your continued support in all areas, so that your child can have a solid academic foundation and be successful throughout their education. We need to have your current address on file to send the students to the correct school for 1st grade, so if you have moved and have a different address, please come and make the changes in the office ASAP. Please continue to drive carefully and plan your trips with more time to spare during the road construction. Also, slow down, and follow the traffic control during the construction phase. Please do not hesitate to contact us at 341-6701 if you have any questions. Sincerely, Mr. Munoz
