A Message From the Principal:

Dear Parents,

ELC would like to acknowledge and recognize the great work that our Nurse and Secretaries do for everyone including your child. ELC would like to thank them for always going above and beyond in everthing. Please take the time to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication. So again, thank you Ms. Emma Rubio, Ms. Lourdes Encinas, Ms. Heidi Ramirez, and Ms. Dani Mena. ELC would be lost without all of your support. Happy Nurse and Secretary Appreciation Week.

We will be approving the final Parent Involvement policy, and School Compact for our 2017/2018 school year at this coming PTO meeting this Wednesday, April 26th at 6 PM.

This is just a friendly reminder that we are having KINDER REGISTRATION for all of our new kinder students for next school year this Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 5 PM at our school office. Please contact our front office for more information. Space is limited, so don’t forget to register your child early.

AzMerit MATH Testing will begin this week for all of our grades 3-5 students and DIBELS Testing is just ONE week away for our K-2 students. Please make sure that your child is here everyday and on time. Also, please do not pick up your child early. Picking up your child early from school might make him or her score a zero on the assessments. Students who are picked up early CANNOT retake the same test anymore. These assessments will determine your chid’s placement for next year. Please talk to your child about how important it is for him or her to take their time and to try their BEST. Together, we can help your child receive a solid academic foundation and help them be successful in their education.

Mr. Munoz

1. This is just a friendly reminder that any student who loses or distroys his or her school I.D. card will cost their parents five (5) dollars to replace it.
